When you order a pass, you will be required to set up a toll pass account with the state or regional agency that issues the transponder or sticker.
After you get your pass, you will need to associate the transponder number with the vehicle you are using.
Often, families will have more than one vehicle and, consequently, more than one pass on their account. Most agencies permit more than one transponder to be assigned to an account, but only one vehicle may be assigned to a transponder ID at any given time.
If you wish to order the E-ZPass issued by Indiana, the state offers the following types of accounts:
Indiana permits individuals and families to order their toll transponders and set up their E-ZPass account online; however, only two-axle vehicles may be handled online. Any vehicle with more than two axles must use the commercial option in the green window below.
New users must provide their name, vehicle and credit card information to start their new account.
Indiana requires commerical E-ZPass users and anyone operating a vehicle with three axles or more to register a commercial iZoom account before receiving their transponders. Users must agree to the terms of service, then speak with a customer service representative, first.
To speak with a customer service representative, call the ITRCC at 574-675-4010.
To review the commercial terms, view or download them below.

The following transponders are accepted on the toll roads in Indiana. Any toll pass/transponder with a logo matching those shown below will be compatible with the E-ZPass network in Indiana.
Be aware that discounts given for using a toll pass or transponder may be restricted or otherwise limited to passes issued by Indiana.
Compatible passes issued by states other than Indiana may not qualify for discount tolls, but the transponder will work on toll roads within the state of Indiana.
Crucially, if you have a toll pass or transponder that is used with one of the following networks, your pass will not work in Indiana.
Regional pass compatibility has become quite common, particularly across the New England states to the Midwest and through the Mid-Atlantic. Additionally, two other large, regional networks dominate the Southern Plains and the Deep South.

Most states' and many regions' toll agencies have their version of an electronic toll sticker or transponder, from E-ZPass and compatible transponders like I-Pass and Sunpass, to more regional and local networks, like TxTag, K-Tag or California's FasTrak.
In most jurisdictions, using a transponder means lower toll bills, as many agencies discount the toll rates for toll pass account holders. The discounts can be substantial for regular haulers and commuters, who may need to use a specific road or group of roads on a consistent basis.

The E-ZPass system is the largest interoperable toll collection and payment system in the United States.
States connected to the E-ZPass system include Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and West Virginia.
Additionally, as of May 28, 2021, all of Florida's toll roads are compatible with E-ZPass.
The SunPass is used primarily on state and local toll roads in Florida. SunPass unveiled the Sunpass Pro in 2021, which is compatible with all E-ZPass roads. E-ZPass transponders and stickers are now compatible on Florida toll roads.
It is important to note that Sunpass stickers and transponders issued before May 28, 2021 are only compatible with Georgia and North Caroilna toll roads; the LeeWay, issued in the Fort Myers area, is also only compatible with the old SunPass network system, not the new one.
The accompanying graphics show where each version of SunPass is compatible, and it displays the passes that are compatible with the network of states shown.

Additionally, all passes from Texas may be used in Oklahoma and Kansas, and vice versa. The Kansas K-Tag and the Oklahoma PikePass are also compatible across this tri-state region of the Southern Plains.

There are other toll systems in states that operate toll roads, tunnels and/or bridges.
