OHIO TURNPIKE PASS COMPATIBILITY

E-ZPassThe primary toll pass for the state of Ohio is the E-ZPass

The following transponders are accepted on the Ohio Turnpike. Any toll pass/transponder with a logo matching those shown below will be compatible with the network on the Ohio Turnpike

Be aware that discount tolls, those given for using a toll pass or transponder, may be restricted or otherwise limited to only that specific pass issued by Ohio. TOLL CLASSES

The following class or axle definitions will apply for your travel on the Ohio Turnpike. A list of compatible toll transponders is shown below.

Remember, when counting axles, make certain to count all axles with wheels touching the ground. Be sure to include axles on any trailers your vehicle may be towing. That is the criteria for determining the total axles on your vehicle.

The Ohio Turnpike uses the following class definitions for vehicles:

  • ► Class 1: 2-axles or a motorcycle 
  • ► Class 2: 3-axles or 2-axle over 90" 
  • ► Class 3: 4-axles or 3-axle veh. over 90" 
  • ► Class 4: 5-axles or 4-axle veh. over 90" 
  • ► Class 5: 6-axles or 5-axle veh. over 90" 
  • ► Class 6: 7-axles or 6-axle veh. over 90" 
  • ► Class 7: More than 7 axles
