Florida's Turnpike Quick Reference

ROAD BASICS

Florida's Turnpike includes the Homestead Extension, labeled with "HEFT" in the toll calculator drop down menus. The mileage on the turnpike begins at zero on the HEFT, and is contiguous where it connects with the Florida's Turnpike Mainline in Miramar.

The Florida's Turnipke Mainline begins at the Golden Glades Interchange, which includes I-95. For the southernmost three miles of the mainline, the mile markers are numbered starting from zero and appended with an "X". Where the mainline joins the HEFT, the mileage changes to accommodate the extension, and the appended "X" is dropped.
