Gas Price Report For June 25, 2018

Gas Price trend for week of June 25, 2018

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Gas prices across the nation continued going down during the past week, according to a U.S. government fuel price survey, even as the summer driving season is about to reach its peak. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the nation’s average gas price dropped nearly a nickel per gallon during the past week to just over $2.83. Prices fell in all regions, with the strongest price declines seen across the Midwest and in the Lower Atlantic states. Prices fell by the smallest amount in the Rocky Mountains and across the West Coast. Truckers enjoyed about a three-cent dip in the price of diesel fuel this week, according to the E.I.A., though prices fell in smaller amounts across much of the Gulf and West Coasts, as well as the Rocky Mountains. This week’s average fuel prices for all regions are shown below, as gathered from www.eia.gov.
