Gas Price Report For June 25, 2018

Gas Price trend for week of June 25, 2018

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Gas prices across the nation continued going down during the past week, according to a U.S. government fuel price survey, even as the summer driving season is about to reach its peak. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the nation’s average gas price dropped nearly a nickel per gallon during the past week to just over $2.83. Prices fell in all regions, with the strongest price declines seen across the Midwest and in the Lower Atlantic states. Prices fell by the smallest amount in the Rocky Mountains and across the West Coast. Truckers enjoyed about a three-cent dip in the price of diesel fuel this week, according to the E.I.A., though prices fell in smaller amounts across much of the Gulf and West Coasts, as well as the Rocky Mountains. This week’s average fuel prices for all regions are shown below, as gathered from www.eia.gov.

Gas Price Report For June 18, 2018

Gas price trend for week of June 18, 2018

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Gas prices continued driving downward during the past week, according to the weekly fuel price survey released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The report shows the average cost of a gallon of unleaded dropped by over three cents per gallon to $2.88, the first time in five weeks the nation’s average fuel price has been under $2.90, providing relief for the summer driving season. Prices went down in all regions, though, once again, the price declines were scarcely even from region to region. Drives along the East Coast and the Lower Atlantic states enjoyed price cuts of as much as a nickel per gallon. Those drivers on the West Coast, hit with the nation’s highest fuel prices, scarcely noticed their minuscule dip of less than a penny. Truckers got a solid price break in all regions this week, save for the wan price dip in the Rocky Mountain states. The E.I.A. weekly report shows the nation’s average cost of diesel dropped by over two cents to about $3.24 per gallon. This week’s average fuel prices for all regions are shown below, as gathered from www.eia.gov.

Gas Price Report For June 4, 2018

Gas price trend for week of June 4, 2018

Fort Lauderdale, FL – America’s official gas price retreated from the $3.00 threshold this week, even as prices had raced toward that critical level for weeks. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the nation’s average gas price dropped just over two cents per gallon to $2.94. The figure was released in the weekly fuel price survey Monday evening. Prices went did not go down in all regions, but many drivers along the East Coast and Midwest were given a solid break on prices at the pump this week, according to the E.I.A. survey. Prices along the Gulf Coast and in the Rocky Mountain states went up slightly, while prices in California helped keep West Coast averages down this week. Truckers, on average, got a slight break this week, although the nature of that break comes in the dubious form of flat fuel prices. For the first time in weeks, the E.I.A. reports average diesel prices remained most flat, holding steady at about $3.29 per gallon. This week’s average fuel prices for all regions are shown below, as gathered from www.eia.gov.
